well, the skies might have been threatening and overcast for most of the day, but i still wound up with a little sunburn! how did that happen? i had a great time seeing julie h., julie k., kellie and the chili peppers that were able to be here, and we missed you laurie, betsy and kim and your lil' ones too!

Have a great time at the get together this week! I will miss being there. Get the date finalized for February and let me know and I will get ready to host along with my new Forsyth Co. transplant buddy, Betsy. I have been thinking of some fun ideas for our outing. Take care. Love to all!

Red Hot Get-Together

Alright, girls!  It looks as if I will be able to make the get together after all, but minus one child.  Will is going to camp, therefore, Anna and I will make the trip. Amy, will you post the date, time, and any other details that I need to remember?  I am hitting 41 tomorrow, you know.  The mind is going....

Mom's Progress

Hi to all! Kim, hearing your grandfather's progress reminded that I needed to update all on my mom as well. I am glad he is doing well and I bet he looked just as cute in surgery with no hair as he did at the beach that year.

Mom had a great report last week at the doctor. We have found out that the gammaknife procedure in her brain was a success and they see no further growth of the places in her brain. All are measuring smaller and there are no new mets. She had her 3rd round of chemo today and it went well. The rest of the week with get progressively tough, but the other two rounds have gone well and we are hopeful that this will continue to be the trend. Thanks for keeping her in you r prayers. Hope you all are doing well and enjoying maybe some break time with Spring Breaks and a change in routine.
